Bride of the Fae Prince Book Review

✍️ Author: Anastasia Blythe

⚙️ Genre: YA Fantasy Romance

⭐️ Rating: 5 Stars

This was a super sweet, swoony story! When I say sweet, I mean it was like a jar full of jelly beans, a piñata full of candies, a bakery full of cakes…you get the idea. It was sweet! 🍭

This book will have you grinning from ear to ear and kicking your feet in giddiness at the sweetness of the romance. Of course, the characters had their low points which makes for a compelling read, and a plot twist or two will have you turning pages in a frenzy. I loved the magic and imaginative world building in this story. There were humans and fae, but there were also magical mice and other interesting creatures. There was a touch of Little Women vibes and some Alice in Wonderland vibes which I thoroughly enjoyed, and as a standalone novel, everything wraps up nicely for a satisfying ending.

Some tropes you might enjoy:

Arranged marriage 💒

Touch her and 💀

Sisterhood 👯‍♀️

Disability rep ♿️

My wife 💍

Readers who enjoy no spice romance with dual points of view, fae, magic, and political intrigue will love Bride of the Fae Prince. Get it here.

Summary from Amazon:

A shy, dutiful human princess. A cunning, vengeful Fae prince.

Will their arranged marriage cost them their hearts . . . or their lives?

Princess Isabelle Louise was raised for one thing: to secure a marriage alliance for the good of her people. All her hopes for a kind husband are dashed when the dark and dangerous Prince of the Fae comes seeking a human princess for his bride.

Suddenly married and thrust into a world of vicious magic and lethal bargains, Isabelle discovers too late the secret her bridegroom concealed from her: that she is the key to his plan to usurp the throne.

And now she is the object of the High King’s wrath.

Is any chance at trust and affection gone before their marriage has even begun? Or will she even survive her first night as the bride of the Fae Prince?
