I’m so excited to share with you today A Bounty of Secrets and Rebellion music playlist. Below you will find a link to the Spotify playlist as well as notes on how the songs relate to the story.
First, I want to thank my sweet friend Trinity for helping me put this music playlist together. She was one of my very first readers and if anyone could find songs appropriate for the book it would be her! She was the one who first compiled the songs and together we narrowed the playlist down to what you will see below. Thank you so much for all you have done in suport of this book Trinity!

Colors of the Wind by Tori Kelly: This song really represents the Hoken people and their way of life.
Beating Heart by Ellie Goulding: All those swoony scenes between the two main couples <3
If I can’t Have You Acoustic by Jonah Baker: This song is for Griff and Halyn in the first few chapters of their story.
Painter by Lady Ocean: If this song were slowed down some, I definitely see it playing during a particular scene in chapter five.
Kingdom Dance by Alan Menken: This is a fun song that I would associate with chapter eleven.
Davy Jones (Piano Version) Patrik Pietschmann: This song is totally dedicated to Koa. I can’t say too much about it in case you haven’t read the book yet. However, if you have, I might relate it to chapter thirteen where we learn more about this mysterious artist.
Young and Beautiful by Lana Del Rey: This song has the last scene in chapter fourteen written all over it.
This by Megan McKenna: This song would definitely be from Alana’s perspective toward Koa. There are many scenes I can imagine this song playing as background noise between their encounters. Especially the end of chapter twenty-eight.
Attention (Violin) by Joel Sunny: This song just has that overall regal vibe for Latera, and Sands palace setting.
Ocean Eyes by Billie Ellish: More swoony vibes between Griff and Halyn and Alana and Koa.
War of Hearts (Acoustic Version) by Ruelle: This is another song for Griff and Halyn. Griff can’t help but love his brother’s betrothed. This is a good song for chapter thirty-one.
Love and War by Fleurie: Chapter thirty-two and a certain dance đ
The Spirit Song – A Nordic Lullaby by Jonna Jinton: I could not find this song on Spotify but as soon as I heard it, I instantly knew this one represented all of Griff’s deep, emotional moments throughout his story. Especially in the last scene we read of him, I can imagine the fade to black with this song at the end of chapter thirty-five.
